Thirty Seconds To Mars picked up their 5th and 6th EMA awards last night in Belfast when they were announced the winners of the 2011 Best Alternative Award and Best World Stage. Not only were they nominated in 3 categories, they were the most successful band at the show, bringing home 2 awards. The awards were particularly meaningful for Mars as they were completely fan voted by their dedicated family of believers around the world collectively called ‘The Echelon’.
