Kindle have released their newest edition to the family. It is a smaller, lighter and faster model than the previous Kindle Keyboard.
This model of Kindle has Wi-Fi and similar features to the last release. It is slightly less damaging to the pocket but you get what you pay for. With less storage, battery life and no 3G it is more suited as an ‘at home’ gadget.
This model has no keyboard giving you just a few buttons including a ‘keyboard’ button to navigate through which can be a little tedious. With a faster processor, you can flick through those pages much more quickly.
A promising 2G of memory is available which stores over 1,400 E-books – so you can’t really complain there. With a full months worth of battery (if you read 30 minutess per day without the Wi-Fi) it finds itself with much better battery life than most gadgets on the market today. As it doesn’t including the audio function seen in other models, the new 6″ Kindle is the most basic addition to the Kindle crew.
At £89.00 it is fairly reasonably priced. We do love good value gadgets at Kingloaf.com and would give this a big thumbs up.
