Beastie Boys Limited Edition Shoes and Exhibition

The canvas high-top sneakers feature never-before published photos, which Sunny Bak took of the Beastie Boys on their 1986 “Licensed to Ill” Tour are now available in limited edition on ebay.  The right sneaker features an image of MCA climbing the Paladium marquee. The left sneaker features an image of Mike D and Adrock holding up a bottle of Mad Dog in a drive-thru liquor barn somewhere in the Midwest. The tongue of both sneakers feature Sunny Bak’s signature.

There will be a limited number of sneakers made. They are selling on ebay for $200, with 10% of each purchase going to Prop 8 Films, a production company with the goal of creating socially conscious documentary films for a wide audience throughout the world. Their first project is a documentary focusing on the issues of Proposition 8 and same-sex marriage around the country.
