Four BAFTAs for Film4

Film4 took home four awards at last night’s star-studded BAFTA ceremony in London.

Meryl Streep won Best Actress for her portrayal of Maggie Thatcher in The Iron Lady, Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur won Outstanding Debut, Pitch Black Heist won Best Short Film, and the Make-Up and Hair prize went to The Iron Lady.

Tessa Ross, Controller of Film and Drama at Channel 4 said: “We’re thrilled for these truly deserved BAFTA winners. It’s fantastic to see their talent being recognised with such a prestigious prize, and we offer our warmest congratulations from all at Film4.”
