iTunes Lands in 12 New European Markets

The iTunes Store is now live in 12 additional markets, bringing their music offering to a total of 29 countries across Europe.

The new markets include:

  • Bulgaria
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic
  • Estonia, Hungary
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia

The store will be part of the Pan-European store and will be the same in each territory. All prices and store functionality such as pre-orders, links to Facebook and Twitter, etc., are available, although the stores are not currently selling video. We are very enthusiastic about this launch and wish iTunes much success with their continued expansion into other territories.
