Mark Pritchard Announces New EP ‘Lock Off’ Out September 3

Lock Off is Mark Pritchard’s second EP in a series of three, following last month’s Ghost EP. A full length album is set for release in early 2014.

Lock Off is a selection of Pritchard productions exploring a 160/80bpm axis of footwork, jungle, and UK rave. Lead track “1234” features influential dancehall emcees Ragga Twins.

Mark Pritchard has previously been known under many guises – most recently as one half of Africa Hitech, Harmonic 313, and Harmonic 33. All his production styles have now come together under one name. As Mark told the UK’s FACT Magazine recently:

“I write different styles of music all the time and they didn’t necessarily fit the project that was happening at that moment. By using my name it leaves me open to releasing more diverse styles of music at any point, not just having to wait for the correct project.”
