New Girl debut episode attracts 3.2m

The audience for episode 1 of New Girl has more than doubled its original Live+Vosdal overnight audience of 1.5m.

Once PVR viewing is included, the consolidated TV audience rose to 1.9m, while the T4 repeat (Jan 7th, 11.30am) consolidated at another 0.5m viewers.

The debut episode of New Girl premiered 4oD for a 2 week window prior to its on air TX (Dec 23rd – Jan 6th)

Online viewing, both prior to transmission and post transmission has been impressive, with the VoD 000s (internal measurement converting VoD views to average 000s) to episode 1 now up to almost 0.8m – giving a sum total audience of 3.2m.
