NME, the multiplatform music brand, today announces a partnership with Enjoy Experiences for the launch of clubnme.com.br, along with the imminent launch of live Club NME nights to be hosted in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
CLUBNME.com.br will feature dedicated content tailored to suit the Brazilian community of music fans. The site will deliver the latest news and reviews of the best acts from Sao Paulo, and the rest of South America along with the latest international music news direct from NME.com.
The website will have all new content for users to like and comment on, allowing them to interact with like-minded music enthusiasts, with exclusive interviews, photo galleries and streaming from live Club NME Brazil events.
Club NME will be holding five live events in Sao Paulo throughout 2013. Music enthusiasts are able to take part in selecting the artists to perform at the upcoming live events via CLUBNME.COM.BR and also find out when the next event will be hosted.
Mike Williams, editor of NME, says: “It’s incredibly exciting that Club NME is hitting Brazil, and I can’t wait for it all to kick off! Since the first Club NME show way back in 2004, we’ve been championing and showcasing some of the best live bands in the world and nurturing the most amazing emerging talent. It’s great to be able to extend this to Sao Paulo, a city known for its fervent support of live music and one of the greatest places to party on the planet! NME’s global reach continues to grow by the day, and Club NME Brazil is another example of why NME remains the most famous and iconic music brand around.”
Bianca Freitas, Partner-Founder of Enjoy Experiences, adds: “NME is one of the most important music news sources worldwide. NME platforms are the first stop for fans, music industry professionals and music journalists alike. Club NME is one of the most respected events in the music calendar for new bands and that’s why we are bringing it to Brazil. We have many passionate music fans in the country, and we wanted to find the best way to keep them engaged and excited about what’s fresh in music. With a new digitally interactive platform, they can pick bands for the events; upload artwork for posters and create personalised merchandise, vote for set-lists and much more. So, for fans looking for something new, nothing will satisfy their curiosity more than Club NME. It’s the perfect way for the community to get closer to the best new music in Brazil.”
In response to the international popularity of NME, the brand has expanded globally. The launch of Club NME Sao Paulo follows closely on from the introduction of NME India – where website and print editions of NME devoted to the Indian music scene are being developed.
WWW.CLUBNME.COM.BR is now live with the first Club NME night launching in Brazil early next year.
