Heineken, the UK’s leading beer and cider business are on fire at the moment. Not only do they look after pretty much every popular drink you can think of, they also have a very creative marketing department. Having recently completed a campaign to find their next employee via a series of completely whacky job interviews and specifications.
Following these creative approaches, they have now unveiled the latest element of its ‘Road to the Final’ campaign, in-line with the Quarter-Finals of the UEFA Champions League. The biggest football teams across the world are battling it out, and Heineken have launched their new ad campaign named ‘The Final’ to build up some extra hype (not that the Champions League needs it) around the final stages.
This new campaign features two super-cool elements, the first is the video which you can watch below. It features one man with an exeptional beard receiving a ticket to the UEFA Champions League Final. However, there is a slight problem to his situation: he is on the other side of the world, and needs to find some innovative way of getting to the final and be rewarded with the ultimate football experience – a pitch side seat at Wembley. Will he make it on time? And how will he get to the final? Watch the video to find out:
The second super-cool element to the ad is the interactive pinball game that follows the video. Sit and have a play after enjoying the video, then see how many points you can score.
