Here is a collection of our 10 favorite pieces of 3D pencil drawings by an underground artist I stumbled upon. The Chilean based artist calls himself “Fredo” and is just an ordinary 17 year old prodigy that through the use of just pencil and paper makes artwork that looks like it jumps off the page. According to Fredo it can take anywhere from just 30 minutes to a few months to create a single piece. Clearly inspired by M.C. Escher, Fredo’s art definitely has both a modern and original twist. Many of these pieces of art use real 3D objects to help fix the illusion in the viewers minds. Keep your eye out for Fredo.
