Woman caught trying to sell stolen purse back to victim

A US woman has been arrested for trying to sell a purse back to the person it was stolen from.

Elizabeth Kidd – who claims the item was given to her – put the $1,400 product up for sale online, so the victim arranged to meet her and called the police.

Kidd was then put in San Mateo County jail on suspicion of possessing stolen property.

The victim started searching for the purse for sale on the internet when a package containing the item and a pair of shoes vanished from her doorstep.
